Welcome to STING Security Academy!
We offer Basic and Advanced Security Training (BST & AST) for people starting their career in security. Whether you’re new to Canada, looking to switch careers or upgrade your resume, our training helps you achieve the skills you need to work in security. Our programs can include everything required to get your security licence: the training, the fingerprints for your criminal record check, assistance with licensing and assistance to get everyone ready to work.

Flexible Learning
We offer part-time evening and weekend classes in Vancouver and Surrey. You can also choose to have training at your location.
Funding Assistance
If you are eligible for funding, we can help you submit a request to your government agency (e.g., Work BC, Employer, WorkSafe, or Indigenous band) for financial assistance. If approved, we will immediately reserve your spot in the course once we receive the confirmation and payment details.
Experienced Instructors
Our instructors are experts in security and law enforcement, certified by the Justice Institute of BC (JIBC), Alberta Solicitor General, Saskatchewan Justice, and Manitoba Justice.
